Forma Skin Treatments

Forma technology is the superior choice for the treatment of wrinkles, tightening skin, and promoting collagen renewal. Forma stimulates the formation of new collagen and improves the skin’s elasticity for long-lasting and remarkable results. The radiofrequency current flows between the electrodes to provide a comfortable thermal experience, without concerns of hot spots or under-treatment. Built-in temperature controls allow for the attainment of clinically proven optimal epidermal temperatures. In addition, Forma has the exclusive capacity for prolonged exposure at therapeutic temperatures, which can be reached quickly and uniformly.

Forma Features & Benefits

Forma is based on ACE technology which is comprised of the following steps:

  • Acquire: Forma has a temperature sensor built into the hand piece which reads skin surface temperature 1000 times per second, allowing to acquire skin temperature in real time.
  • Control: The “cut off temperature” feature reduces RF energy automatically when the hand piece senses that the required skin temperature has been reached.
  • Extend: Prolonged exposure to temperature above 40°C is advantageous for optimal outcomes. Only InMode’s A.C.E. technology allows therapeutic temperatures to be administered safely and efficiently.

  • Am I a good candidate for Forma Skin Tightening?

    Forma is suitable for all skin types and is appropriate for individuals seeking a non-invasive and a natural looking approach to improvements in skin tone and texture irregularities. Patients have reported that their skin feels smoother and more defined with less wrinkles.

    Plus is recommended for individuals who are looking for a non-invasive skin treatment to address targeted areas that require contraction. Plus can be used to reduce texture irregularities in lax skin to provide a lifted appearance. Plus is safe and can be used on all skin types and tones.

  • How safe is Forma Skin treatment?

    Forma can be used both on the face and body. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crow’s feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck. On the body, popular treatments consist of the arms (bat wings), abdomen and other areas that may need contraction.

    Plus can be used on parts of the body that may need contraction after the effects of weight gain/loss or general aging. Most common areas of treatment include the abdomen, arms (bat wings), inner thighs, outer thighs, back fat and knees.

  • Does Forma Skin Tightening hurt?

    Forma is an essentially painless procedure with no downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post procedure, which subsides within a few hours.

    Plus is essentially painless and has no downtime. Plus feels like a hot stone massage. After a session, patients may see slight redness in the treated area, which will lessen within a few hours. All patients are able to return to their daily activities immediately after treatment.

  • How many sessions are required for Forma Skin Tightening?

    For Forma treatments, it is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals with mild laxity may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical pre-evaluation.

  • Can Forma be used in combination with other treatments?

    Yes, Forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler. Please speak to your aesthetic provider when considering combining Forma with other treatments.
