Recovery time depends on the procedure. Dermal fillers generally require no downtime, allowing patients to return to daily activities immediately. Fat transfer procedures may involve mild swelling and bruising for one to two weeks, depending on the area treated.
General Volume Loss Treatment Recovery Guidelines:
- Avoid strenuous activity for the first few days after fat transfer
- Follow incision and injection site care instructions closely
- Wear any recommended compression garments after liposuction for donor sites
- Protect treated areas from direct sun exposure during healing
Long-Term Results & Maintenance
